Holidays falling on Saturday will be observed on the preceding Friday, and those falling on Sunday will be observed the following Monday.
If Christmas Day falls on Saturday, Christmas Eve will be observed on the preceding Thursday. If Christmas Day falls on Sunday or Monday, Christmas Eve will be observed on the preceding Friday, unless some other day is specified by the governor of the Commonwealth for observation of Christmas Eve by state employees, in which event, such other day as designated by the governor shall be observed as the Christmas Eve holiday by the Crisis Center, Inc. also.
We choose to follow the schedule of the City of Bristol, VA, for all federal and state holidays.
We will follow the weather closing schedule for Bristol, VA Public Schools for weather related closings only. Any delays will be utilized as a regular work day for all volunteers and employees.
