Just Checking

The "Just Checking" Program consists of daily reassurance calls to the elderly and homebound.

This program is intended to make daily calls to individuals who would otherwise have no one checking on them on a regular basis.

Trained and caring workers make the calls Monday through Friday to program participants. Follow up calls are made to confirm well-being when there is no answer. We also make referrals and assist with making appointments as needed.

• Every effort is made to insure that program participants receive a call on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
• The emotional and physical well being of the participant is assessed with each call. If there are needs identified by the caller or the client, follow up with the appropriate resource is arranged.
• Participants receive birthday cards, get well cards, holiday cards throughout the year.
