Our History

The Crisis Center in Bristol, Virginia is a non-profit agency which has been helping thousands of citizens — for free — in our surrounding communities for over 40 years.

Since we began in 1973, our agency has grown to include trained crisis workers who provide resources for clients dealing with a variety of issues, including::

  • Sexual assault
  • Domestic violence
  • Stalking
  • Abuse
  • Neglect
  • Suicide
  • And much more

Clients are accepted regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender, sexuality, nationality, disability, or age.
