To The Crisis Center:
I am writing this letter to The Crisis Center because I am turning in my resignation as a Volunteer Hotline Counselor starting July 1, 2007. I have been a Volunteer counselor since April 10, 2003 and I thank the good Lord for the experience of a lifetime.
I am thankful for the professional training that I recieved over the past four years. It has been a priceless experience to serve on the Hotline. There are so many people in the world that just need someone to talk to and to just give them enough encouragement to have a desire to go on in life.
I thank God for the ones working at The Crisis Center because I saw a desire from the heart to help others like I have never saw before. To help others in need it takes a special kind of person and I think that describes the staff at the center.
I will count each and everyone there a true friend and a friend for a lifetime.
I would like to thank The Crisis Center for allowing me to be just a little part of a great organization. Over the past four years the most precious words that came at 3:00am in the morning on the Hotline was: "Thank You." These two words were worth all the time and training and effort it took to be a Hotline Counselor.
May God Bless,
James G. Sproles
